Catalytic Climate Fellowship 2025

Applications for 2025 Fellowship open in November!

Maroon is excited to announce its Womens Catalytic Climate Fellowship for ventures in the two Climate areas with potential to deliver the greatest impact at scale on our Planet and Human Health: Blue Economy and Built Environment.

Fellowship objective is to advance tangible competitive Climate solutions with clear KPIs in one of Climate priority areas below:
  • Blue Economy, ocean-related, seaweed value chain, or marine biology applications addressing chronic Human Health conditions
  • Built Environment, including innovation driving positive impact on Health (e.g. materials, health infrastructure)
  • Leveraging Artificial Intelligence or Robotics to deliver Climatic impact on Health
Venture studio - first initiative
Fellowships are awarded to a venture and venture team, and not limited to one entrepreneur. Applications for 2025 will open in November 2024 so please stay tuned!

Venture Eligibility Criteria

  • Operations in North America, Caribbean, United Kingdom, Western Europe, or select African countries
  • Venture Growth Stage: Pre-Seed, Seed, or Series A
  • Evidence of differentiated venture innovation and material commercial potential
  • Experienced venture team including female members with operational and financial responsibilities and at least 50% of executive decision-making and equity
  • Successful application including 10 slide deck and interview with Selection Panel
  • Venture incorporated in the USA or UK (either preferred, not required)

Fellowship Description

  • Climate Sector Innovation in Built Environment or Blue Economy
  • Global R&D Innovation Exchange Program with Fellowship Innovation Partners over 4 weeks (as 1 or more trips)
  • Direct Venture Building & Scaling including GTM support to scale regionally and globally including pilot opportunities, customers, B2B, and offtake agreements as relevant
  • Program Resources in artificial intelligence, data analytics, impact delivery, investor readiness for global markets
  • Catalytic investment capital (access to funders) targeting strong commercial returns
  • Impact and Financial Milestones
  • Fellowship part-time over 8 month time period
  • Fellowship valued at $50k including capital and Exchange Program stipend
